Wilson Health is set to introduce a new system to enhance patient care experience.
The launch of the new Epic Electronic Health Record System (EHR) will take place this Saturday, May 3, 2025.
This widely used system is designed to improve care delivery and strengthen the connection between patients and their healthcare experiences.
Patients and their caregivers can use MyChart for personalized and secure online access to their health information. Patients using MyChart will be able to communicate with providers, review lab results, schedule appointments, refill prescriptions, and more.
Epic stands out as the leading and most extensive health records system across the United States. It offers a platform that promotes integrated care, allowing patients easy digital access to their health information. For the fourteenth year in a row, Epic received the Best in KLAS award in 2024. Many of the top hospitals and medical schools recognized by U.S. News and World Report, including those in Ohio, utilize Epic, collaborating daily to enhance patient care, innovate healthcare delivery, and maintain financial stability.
“May 3, 2025 marks Wilson Health’s most significant technological step forward in our history,” said Julie Covault, acting CEO at Wilson Health. “Transitioning to Epic’s electronic health record platform will allow patients to move seamlessly across our entire system, as well as other facilities as well. With one integrated system, we’re better able to manage complex medical information and improve clinical outcomes, while also ensuring patients receive a consistent experience whenever they engage with us for their health care needs,” she added.
