The loss of a child is a very emotional time in the life of a parent. The loss is often a private burden that parents must carry alone. Wilson Health would like to reach out to all those who have experienced a similar situation. On Saturday, October 15, Wilson Health will host the 8th Annual Hope Launch in conjunction with National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
The public is invited to this event, which will feature a candle lighting ceremony and balloon launch. Following the events, there will be an informal reception. Anyone who has been affected by the loss of a child – regardless of age or circumstance – is welcome to attend.
The candle lighting ceremony will take place in the Wilson Health Hope Garden, located near the main entrance of the hospital, at 7:30 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following in the Wilson Health Professional Building Lower Level Conference Rooms, at 915 W. Michigan St., Sidney.
