The Wilson Health Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Pohlman as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 20, 2025.
Pohlman joins Wilson Health from Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio, where he serves as Vice President of Operations. With more than ten years of healthcare leadership experience, Pohlman is recognized for his visionary approach, ability to build high-performing teams, and commitment to advancing healthcare through collaborative partnerships.
“We are thrilled to welcome Alex Pohlman as our new CEO,” said Tom Milligan, Chair of the Wilson Health Board of Trustees. “Alex’s depth of experience, local roots, and passion for patient-centered care position him perfectly to lead Wilson Health into a strong and innovative future. A native of Versailles, Ohio, Pohlman holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine with a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton and a Master of Health Services Administration from Xavier University. He is an active community leader, serving on numerous boards including the Scouting America Miami Valley Council Executive Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

In announcing the new CEO, the Board of Trustees also expressed appreciation for Julie Covault, who has served as acting CEO during this transition period. Covault will resume her position as Chief Financial Officer for Wilson Health.
“Julie’s exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication have been instrumental throughout the transition,” said Milligan. “We are deeply grateful for the stability and guidance Julie brought as we identified Wilson Health’s new leader.”
