Mobile Mammography

Our mobile mammography coach makes it easy and convenient to get your annual screening mammogram—an essential step for early detection of breast cancer. The coach travels to

businesses and community locations throughout the region.

Inside, you’ll find the same state-of-the-art Genius™ 3-D Mammography™ technology used at Wilson Health’s Francis Women’s Center. All screenings are reviewed by experienced radiologists,

and your results are sent directly to you and your physician.

Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with a reception area, private dressing rooms, a restroom, and a comfortable mammography suite.

Women age 40 and older can schedule a screening mammogram on the coach without a physician’s order; appointments are required.


Eligibility for Mobile Mammography

Mobile mammography is available for women who:

- Are 40 or older (no physician’s order needed)

- Are under 40 with a physician’s order

- Haven’t had a mammogram in the last 12 months

- Don’t have symptoms such as a lump or nipple discharge

- Can walk and safely use the coach’s stairs

If you’ve had mammograms at another hospital or health system, just let us know when you schedule—we’ll handle transferring your records.
