The loss of a child is a very emotional time in the life of a parent. The loss is often a private burden that parents must carry alone. Wilson Memorial Hospital would like to reach out to all those who have
experienced a similar situation. On Tuesday, October 15, 2013 the hospital will hold the 5th Annual Hope Launch in honor of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
The public is invited to this event which will feature a candle lighting ceremony followed by an informal reception. Anyone who has been affected by the loss of a child, regardless of age or circumstance, is welcome to attend.
The candle lighting ceremony will take place in the Hope Garden, next to the main entrance of Wilson Memorial Hospital at 7:00 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following in the Professional Building, lower level conference rooms A and B, at 915 W.
