Choose your calories wisely:

  • Low fat yogurt & orange
  • Baked potato with broccoli & 1/2 oz cheese
  • Half turkey sandwich & skim milk
  • 1/2 a deluxe fast food burger OR 3/4 of an order of fries

An extra 300 calories per day is all you need!

Fluids

Drink 8 glasses of water each day. Soda dehydrates so drink an extra 16 oz of water for every can of soda.

Avoid

  • Caffeine
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol
  • Some Medications
  • Foods with little nutritional value
  • Undercooked or un-pasteurized foods
  • Street Drugs
